Congratulations, you’re engaged!! One of the first things to plan is your wedding venue, which sets the stage for everything else about your big day. You’ve never been hotel ballroom or golf club people, and you’re searching for unique South Jersey wedding venues. A special place that your guests will talk about for years!
As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph over 150 weddings at lots of venues in the Central & South Jersey region, and I’ve seen the everything from amazing to unfortunately not so great venues. Here are 4 of my favorite unique central and south jersey wedding venues, including what I love about them!
I photograph 5-8 weddings each year at The Estate at Eagle Lake and love it for it’s unique beauty and charm. Perhaps the biggest draw for most my couples who host their wedding here is that you have full use of the grounds all day, which include several garden areas, an outdoor swing and a private beach and dock.
The owners and staff take meticulous care of the grounds, and the venue is filled with stunning photo locations from spring through fall.

If you’re looking for a classic, elegant and unique wedding venue in South Jersey then Renault Winery should be at the top of your list to check out! The venue features several beautiful reception spaces with different styles, and the gardens and vineyard are beautiful for photos.
Another benefit which my couples love is on-site accommodation available at Renault Resort, along with options to host your afterparty on-site.

“When you know, you know!” That’s how one of my couples described feeling when they walked into Stone House at Stirling Ridge and being sure that it was the perfect venue for their wedding. Technically this one’s in Central Jersey, but it’s so unique I just had to include it. This venue features beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright inspired architecture, nestled in the Watchung Mountains.
The staff at Stone House are extremely attentive and the food is top notch. The beautiful, natural outdoor space along with the building’s interior also feature plenty of natural and man made photo spots. If you’re looking to wow your guests, this unique venue is definitely one to check out!

The Community House at Moorestown should be at the top of your venue list if you’re looking for a unique storybook setting in South Jersey! Nestled right in the heart of downtown Moorestown, this quaint, historic building has a warm and charming feel. The building itself is beautiful, and features a gorgeous library which many use as an indoor ceremony space. And its high wood-beam ceilinged ballroom can’t be beat!
The other unique benefit of this venue is it’s location right in downtown Moorestown, which is perfect for portraits! And accommodations for you and your guests are just minutes away.
