New Jersey Grounds for Sculpture Maternity Session

S & J have been closest friends for more years than I can count. I remember the night J told me about S – how he’d met a wonderful girl and wanted to swing by her apartment to leave her a note. I remember them both at Jeff’s and my wedding, being there through our pregnancy with Adam and being “uncle J and aunt S” for the last 9 years. And I remember their wedding vividly at the New Jersey Grounds for Sculpture, because everything about that special day and the Grounds for Sculpture fit their personalities so well! Non-traditional, beautiful and full of life.

So you can imagine when S & J asked that we return to the Grounds for Sculpture to document the upcoming birth of their baby girl, I was over the moon. And there’d be no “cutsie” maternity images for this stunning couple – I wanted to focus completely on their adoration for each other, their bold, bright and beautiful personalities, and the gorgeous, intelligent, kind and wonderful life that they’re bringing into this world.
