It was a beautiful, crisp morning when I arrived for Kristina & Tal’s fall Renault Winery wedding. The leaves were starting to turn into beautiful yellows and reds, and I was even more excited than normal to start capturing their day given that Kristina’s mom Theresa has been a friend of mine for years. I knew the day would be filled with joy and happy tears, and I couldn’t wait to document it all!
Kristina and Tal met while she was finishing her graduate school program in psychology and took a job as a receptionist at the car dealership Tal works at. It was a classic office romance, which led to a surprise European proposal and this gorgeous fall Renault Winery wedding.
Kristina and the ladies got ready above the Renault Winery Champagne Ballroom, where their reception would be held later that day. While Tal, his groomsmen and both dads got ready at the beautiful Renault Winery Resort.
Renault Winery’s beautiful facilities provide a comfortable and classic getting ready space for brides, grooms and their wedding parties and are also gorgeous to photograph! It’s clear the venue designers put a lot of thought into the space.
Kristina had a touching first look with her dad, grandfather and brother in Renault Winery’s beautiful vaulted staircase, then she headed to her first look with Tal in the garden.
After enjoying their first look, the couple welcomed their family and wedding party to the garden for portraits before their ketubah signing and sunset wedding ceremony. Kristina chose gorgeous vibrant pinks and orange sherbert hues for her flowers, artfully created by Leigh Florist. The flowers beautifully complimented her blush bridesmaids dresses, and the early fall colors.
I loved documenting the close family bonds between Kristina and Tal and their families. It’s always beautiful seeing two families come together as one, and that sentiment was so apparent throughout Kristina and Tal’s whole wedding day.
As the fall light started to turn golden, the wedding party stepped inside the Champagne Ballroom for Kristina & Tal’s Ketubah signing – the traditional Jewish Marriage Contract that is signed by the couple, their Rabbi and witnesses prior to their wedding ceremony. And then it was time for Kristina & Tal’s emotional, joy and tear-filled sunset Jewish Marriage Ceremony. I’m not gonna lie, I may have had to hold back a few tears myself…
And then it was time to party! Kristina & Tal included a traditional Hora Chair Dance which was so much fun, and danced the night away to the beats of The Heartbeat Dance Band with their friends and family. I loved documenting every moment of their wedding, and sharing in their joy and tears!!
