Amy and Kevin’s HollyHedge Estate wedding was a celebration of love, laughter, and being surrounded by family and friends. The couple share a love of reading and nature, so it was only natural that they chose this stunning historic venue for their wedding, and that they exchanged vows outdoors amongst the gorgeous fall colors!

Amy & Kevin’s story began online as so many amazing stories today do!! Amy fondly recalls, “Before I left for our next date I told my roommate this was my last first date ever. And it was. It was amazing and we talked for hours.”

HollyHedge Estate Wedding | A Sweet Proposal, with a few hiccups!

Amy & Kevin picked the ring together so Amy knew the proposal was coming, but Kevin still wanted to surprise her. One night after dinner Kevin playfully persuaded Amy to go out and get Ritas for them (even though she really didn’t want any).

When she pulled back into the driveway, Amy decided to hook her new phone up to her car’s bluetooth. She recalls seeing Kevin peeking through the window at her, waiting anxiously for her to come back in and thinking “ hang on, you’ll get your Ritas in a minute!”. Of course when she finally stepped through the door, she found flowers scattered around the house and their song playing softly in the background while Kevin knelt to ask her to be his wife.

HollyHedge Estate Wedding | A Historic Bucks County PA Venue

Holly Hedge Estate, with its sprawling grounds and timeless charm, provided a stunning and unique setting for Amy and Kevin’s wedding. The property’s located in Frenchtown PA, and boasts a rich 240 year history.  Today HollyHedge Estate hosts weddings and events, and is also home to a 15-room inn.

Amy & Kevin took full advantage of the Estate’s accommodations and grounds for their wedding. The couple got ready on the property, and Amy got dressed in the stunning loft of The Old Barn at HollyHedge Estate. After getting dressed, the couple had a sweet first look in The Inn’s Library before portraits on the grounds. 

Amy & Kevin then welcomed their guests to the beautiful HollyHedge Courtyard for their wedding ceremony, before cocktails in The Old Barn and a lively reception in The New Barn!

Amy & Kevin’s Shared Hobbies and Gardening Adventures

Amy and Kevin share a love for video games and consider themselves, in Amy’s words, “kind of” farmers. Their shared passion extends to a yearly tradition of planting a diverse garden, yielding a bounty of tomatoes, eggplants, onions, leeks, peppers, cucumbers, squash, and even peanuts. These shared activities, whether battling virtual foes or nurturing their garden, form the foundation of their unique bond.

Amy and Kevin’s wedding at Holly Hedge Estate was a celebration of their love, rooted in laughter, shared passions, and unwavering support. As their photographer, my goal was to document a visual narrative that mirrors the depth and uniqueness of their connection.
