Lakeside At Medford Wedding | A Fun Spring Day Celebrating Michele and Frank
When I first met Michele and Frank to chat about documenting their Lakeside At Medford Wedding, they said the day was going to be all about having fun. As their second marriage, they wanted to focus less on formalities and instead, spend their day celebrating with their most cherished family and friends – including Michele’s two sons and daughter.
Frank’s day began at his father’s home, where he relaxed and got ready with his family and his 12 year old Boxer Lacey, who stole the show all day. He shared that he felt anticipation rather than nervousness as he prepared for his upcoming vows.
Meanwhile, Michele was busy being pampered at Suede Salon before returning to Frank’s and her home to get ready with her children and cousins. While a was with Michele getting ready, I learned that she and Frank actually grew up together on the same street, but life didn’t bring them together until later!
Michele and Frank were hoping for an outdoor ceremony on Lakeside At Medford’s Patio, overlooking the woods, but the weather wasn’t cooperating. Thankfully the venue has a beautiful, rustic stone fireplace overlooking the gorgeous trees which served as a beautiful spot for their vows.
Lacey accompanied Frank down the aisle then stood next to him and his best man, as they watched Michele walk towards them, escorted by her sons. It was a tearful, beautiful ceremony for everyone there – capped off with a joyful first kiss which even Lacey enjoyed!
After the heartfelt ceremony, the rain eased up enough for the couple and their family to head outside for portraits. Michele and Frank had their heart set on a beautiful portrait on the Lakeside At Medford bridge, and it did not disappoint that day!
And it was finally the time Michele and Frank were most looking forward to – dancing the night away with their friends and family! After a beautiful and emotional first dance, the couple were toasted by their best man Frank (close friend of the groom), and Mackenzie (Michele’s daughter and Maid of Honor)
A scrumptious sit-down dinner was served by Summit Catering, and then the dance floor opened for a great night! Even Lacey got in on the action, but she was completely exhausted in her dog bed by the end of the night. It was a gorgeous and super-fun wedding which I’ll always remember.
