About The Estate at Eagle Lake

The Estate at Eagle Lake is a stunning, natural outdoor wedding venue in South New Jersey. It sits on 25 acres and features lovely manicured gardens, a tree-lined driveway and a beautiful 6 acre natural lake. The estate’s name originates from a pair of bald eagles which can often be seen on the lake in the mornings and it’s not surprising to see herons, geese and other wildlife on the grounds.

It’s no surprise that Eagle Lake is perfect for wedding photos, which is one reason so many couples choose it for their big day! Another benefit that couples enjoy is private use of the estate grounds all day from 8:00 in the morning through to 11:00 at night!

Estate at Eagle Lake | Getting Ready

Start your wedding day as early as 8:00am at the estate! You can sip mimosas in the elegantly decorated getting ready suite, while your fiance enjoys fishing, boating or a round of pool with their best friends.

The bright and elegant main getting ready suite features three hair and makeup stations with lighted mirrors, several comfortable sofas, a private dressing room, private bathroom, mini fridge and a working fireplace for cooler months!

There’s a second suite for your fiance and their wedding party, complete with a television and sound system, several seating lounges and a private dressing space. And let’s not forget the pool table and dart board – plenty of entertainment for everyone to enjoy!

Your Estate at Eagle Lake Wedding Ceremony

When it comes time to say “I Do”, the Estate offers three beautiful ceremony locations for you to choose from! First and most popular, you can say your vows lakeside under the grand oak trees where it’s traditional to start the lake fountain as you have your first kiss!

A second, more rustic ceremony option is the field. And third, let’s not forget the brand new chapel added in spring 2022. This space was added in case of inclement weather, and it provides a beautiful backdrop for portraits as well!

The Estate at Eagle Lake Wedding Photos

After photographing weddings at The Estate at Eagle Lake for the past 5 years, I’m fortunate to know the best photo locations on the property – many of which are hidden gems! Here’s the scoop on the best spots.

The Dock & Lake

This popular spot is best an hour before sunset, because the direct sunlight there can be less flattering earlier in the day.

Lakeside Path

This hidden gem is a stunning spot for couples photos in the afternoon before 4pm, when the sun shines through the trees.

The Entrance & Tree-Lined Driveway

This spot is fantastic for Wedding Party & Family photos in the afternoon before 4pm. Just try and time your portraits for before guests arrive because the driveway is the only entrance into the estate.

The Hidden Grove

This hidden gem is tucked away in a small garden next to the venue entrance. It’s perfect for your first look or cozy couples’ portraits especially in the spring or summer when flowers are in bloom.

Cocktail Gardens & Koi Pond

This popular spot is great for Couples Photos & small Family / Wedding Party groups in the afternoon, before it’s utilized for cocktail hour.

The Top Deck

A popular spot for good reason because you can’t beat that view! It’s best to utilize the deck 1-2 hours before sunset for the most flattering light.

The Field

This is a great secluded spot for sunset Couples Photos at The Estate at Eagle Lake! It’s accessible by a 2-minute golf cart trip, and is well worth the diversion to get these portraits for your album and walls!

The Chapel & Lounge

This hidden gem is a great place to get creative for your couples portraits, at any time during the day! Just make sure your photographer is comfortable with off camera lighting to capture the full ambiance of this space.

Estate at Eagle Lake Cocktail Hour & Reception

Cocktails are usually held in the top gardens, allowing guests to sip and enjoy the koi pond, lawn games like Jenga and Corn Hole, and to admire the view from the deck. The garden is a short walk from the reception tent and restrooms, and staff are on standby to transport guests by golf cart.

After cocktails, guests are invited into the bright reception tent, overlooking the lake and manicured gardens. The Estate at Eagle Lake can accommodate up to 200 guests in their spacious facilities at long farm tables, more traditional banquet tables or a combination of both!

The Estate at Eagle Lake Wedding Cost

The starting cost for a wedding at The Estate at Eagle Lake is $6100 plus $21.95 per person. Venue rentals include the use of the venue space from 7am – 11pm, a DJ, photo both, and access to the property for your rehearsal.

The venue partners with several excellent off-site caterers, who also provide event management on your wedding day. My couples love Summit Catering for their excellent food and service!
