Collingswood Scottish Rite Theater Wedding | Dave & Corwin

What can I say? I’ve been looking forward to Corey & Dave’s Collingswood Scottish Rite Theater Wedding since I met them, and they told me that they chose this amazing venue because of their love of theater! Of course, that wasn’t the only reason I knew it was going to be an amazing day. It was clear to me that these two are head over heels for each other, and that they couldn’t wait to be married!

Collingswood Scottish Rite Theater Wedding | How it Began

Dave & Corey met online, and it was lucky that Corey’s patient because Dave got lost getting to their first date and was over an hour late! That was over 4 years ago, and the couple have been inseparable since – enjoying video games, taking in shows at The Kimmel Center and spending time with their close knit families and friends!

The couple also enjoys the outdoors and hiking on weekends, which is what led them to choose Washington Lake Park for their engagement session!

Collingswood Scottish Rite Theater Wedding | Getting Ready

Corey & Dave started their day in a really relaxed way, together at their home with their wedding party. After a while, Dave traveled the short distance to the Collingswood Grand Ballroom & Theater to finish getting ready while Corey finished his preparations at home, so they would both be surprised for their first look at the venue.

The couple chose to have a first look, so they could enjoy a private moment together before the “chaos” of their day began (as Corey put it). It was a gorgeous fall day so we all enjoyed time outdoors before heading inside for more portraits with just the couple.

One of my favorite moments, which I’ll always remember is when I was photographing Dave and he looked over at Corey, and I think it was in that moment that it dawned on him that they were getting married!! Dave was so happy in that moment, focused on his husband to be. It’s moments like this that remind me of why I love what I do!

Collingswood Scottish Rite Theater Wedding | A Heartfelt Ceremony & Fun-Filled Party

Before long, the moment everyone was waiting for finally arrived – Dave & Corey were ready to exchange their vows in the beautiful Collingswood Grand Ballroom in front of their closest family and friends!! As I looked around at the many tear-filled eyes, it was clear how much love was in that room for this amazing couple!

And then it was time to mix, mingle and party!! Corey & Dave enjoyed a beautiful first dance while their guests looked on from the ballroom balcony, after which they danced the night away!
