It was a gorgeous June day for Mary & Eric’s Estate at Eagle Lake wedding. The morning started bright and early with donuts, mimosas and a rehearsal by the lake. Mary was all smiles from the moment I arrived, in her plaid robe and an heirloom locket with photographs of her grandparents.
When I first met Mary & Eric almost a year before their wedding, they shared that the most important thing for them was documenting the joy and personalities of the people they love coming together to celebrate them. And what a joyful day it was!
The bridal party was excited as they got into their spring-colored dresses and gray suits, and Mary donned her stunning floral wedding dress by BHLDN. Especially little flower girl Cici in her curls and tiered purple dress! Finally before long it was time for Mary and Eric’s first look in the Eagle Lake gardens.
Mary’s bridesmaids wore coordinating pastel floral dresses which perfectly matched the outdoor spring setting.
Something I adored about Mary & Eric’s ceremony was that they were both accompanied by their parents to the top of the aisle, then walked down the aisle together. It was a beautiful, touching moment and underscored how important family is to them.
