When Jaime texted me right before her wedding to Jeff at The Estate at Eagle Lake, to clue me in on her plans for a hilarious first look, I knew that their day was going to be awesome! It takes a special bride to go to the lengths that Jaime did to pull off this surprise for her groom. And the results were fantastic!

Before the Hilarious First Look | Jaime & Jeff’s Journey

Jeff is a talented disk golf player… in fact last June, Jeff competed in the Disk Golf World Championship in Indiana! The couple saw that trip as an opportunity to officially tie the knot.

But unbeknownst to Jamie and Jeff at the time, the day they chose to officially tie the knot was National Pink Flamingo Day! Of course this was a golden opportunity to incorporate flamingos into their story going forward.

Jaime’s brother Jeremy was a fantastic and willing co-conspirator, eagerly getting dressed up to prank Jeff as his fake flamingo bride. Meanwhile, Jeff was anxiously awaiting his real bride, and got quite a shock when he turned around to see Jeremy all clad in pink!

Which of course made Jaime & Jeff’s real & emotional first look so much more special.

The Estate at Eagle Lake | A Garden Oasis

Nestled within the heart of South Jersey lies The Estate at Eagle Lake, a picturesque haven where nature’s beauty blooms in its full glory during the summer months. The gardens, adorned with vibrant flowers and serene waters, provided a dreamlike setting for Jaime and Jeff’s portraits & wedding day!

The Wedding Ceremony by the Water

After taking a moment to cool off, it was time for the couple to join their guests lakeside and exchange heartfelt vows. A beautiful summer breeze blew through, as the couple said I do before joining their guests in the gardens for cocktails after which they danced the night away under the stars.
