Elena & Jake wanted a super fun, hot summer wedding dance party to celebrate the night away with their friends. And their wedding definitely fit the bill!! Their day began as Elena & Jake got ready with their friends in the bridal & groom suites at The Estate at Eagle Lake. Elena’s bridesmaids presented her with a beautiful book filled with personalized messages and photographs, which was a perfect start to the day.

Hot Summer Wedding Party | The First Look

Elena and Jake opted to have a first look so they could spend as much time as possible with their guests during cocktail hour. This also allowed them a private moment together before the whirlwind of the ceremony and reception.

The wedding party’s attire perfectly complemented the breezy feeling of the August day. The bridesmaids donned beautiful light shades of green, while the groomsmen looked fantastic in tan and white.

Elena & Jake were excited to have the beautiful Estate at Eagle Lake as the backdrop for their wedding! Nestled in the heart of South Jersey, with its pristine lakeside setting, lush greenery, and unique architecture, it’s a gorgeous location for any wedding.

As the sun began dipping towards the horizon, Elena, Jake and their families headed lakeside to join their guests for a heartfelt ceremony. There wasn’t a dry eye present as the couple said their personal vows to each other!

And with the “formalities” done, Elena & Jake joined their friends and family in The Estate at Eagle Lake‘s garden for cocktails and laughs. Friends played lawn games and enjoyed catching up while the couple mingled with their guests.

Next, everyone retired to the beautiful tent which was decked out in green & white and glowing with candles as Elena & Jake had their first dance together as husband and wife. But the night was young and the party was just getting started!!

It’s no secret that as a wedding photographer, I love getting on the dancefloor with you! There’s no better way to document every dance move and all the love between you and your friends. Elena & Jake’s dancefloor was HOT and I loved every minute of it. My favorite moment might have been when Elena & Jake grabbed an air canon and blasted cool mist into the dancefloor to cool everyone off! What a fantastic night which I’ll always remember!!
